We, as Pennine Bridleway Trails, run fully catered horse holidays. Ride from Arbor Low, 19 miles to Rushop Hall, and ride loops from each of the farms. Subject to availability we may also be able to send you to satellite hosts.
On your Horse Holiday you will have dinner B&B accommodation at each farm and horse accommodation. Set off with your packed lunch and your luggage is transferred to the next farm.
Don’t ride a horse? Bring your bike. We have had plenty of horse and bike combinations.
Arbor Low is also an ideal base for an independent horse bed and breakfast holiday. We have loop rides from here of varying length and terrain. Just let us know your and your horse’s ability and we can help with ideas, routes and terrain. Again we can provide you with a packed lunch. Most guests leave their horses out overnight, there is always plenty of grass. We can put them inside in stock pens adapted for horses if you wish.
